Car Bushings and Suspension
Car bushings are suspension components that are either rubber or polyurethane, which are used to reduce friction between metal parts of your car, isolate vibration and provide cushioning.
Car bushings are usually control arm bushings and sway bar bushings, but sometimes they are also found between the car’s suspension and frame in several other areas.
Due to the materials used for car bushings, they are prone for expiration over time because of either extended compression, or compound deterioration that happens due to hot/cold weather and contact with chemicals in the car.
You need car bushing replacement if:
- Your steering wheel is loose.
- The frame of your car is rattling when you go on a speed bump.
- You sense extreme vibration and noise in the car.
- You hear sounds like creaks or banging from the tyre fenders.
